PADI Basic Mermaid

Minimum age ~ 6 yrs. A 1-day certification course with a certified PADI Mermaid Instructor. Thru a class and in-water session, learn the basics about swimming safely with a mermaid tail. To enroll, participants must be able to swim 25m and float for 3 minutes unassisted. Sign up now!

PADI Advanced Mermaid

As a PADI Freediving Instructor and Mermaid Instructor Trainer, Jewels brings 33 years of aquatic teaching experience to Mermaid Cozumel.
She is a former member and record-holder for the US Freediving team, and is very passionate about sharing the secrets of freediving to create mermaid magic. It was freediving safety protocols that motivated Jewels to encourage formal mermaid education and universal safety standards for the mermaid community.
Acting on the PADI Mermaid Advisory Board to develop the PADI Mermaid programs, Jewels has trained the 1st generation of o`fish`ally certified Mermaid Instructors at Mexico's 1st PADI Mermaid Center in Cozumel, Mexico.
As a part of the PADI Mermaid Ambassador Team, she swims and freedives with purpose to ensure every human has the opportunity to transform and become a mer.
