We can't wait to welcome you to Cozumel, Mexico for a shell~abration of mermaid living. During this week, we will deFINitely make a splash in these crystal clear Caribbean waters.

This year, bring your favorite land folk! SCUBA Divers and freedivers are also welcome as we will organize private diving activities for guests of Mer Week attendees.

Our Mer Safety Crew will take care of the safety logistics so you can focus on your mer time. The week is designed for you to swim and freedive safely alongside other certified mers in a collective imMERsion of aquatic living. We will get refreshed and recharged as we swim our way to release stress and tension.

Each day, we'll start with guided sessions designed for relaxation, breath-hold, and freediving mermaid activity. We'll also hold the world famous and friendly Mer Games™️ competition! ALL mers are automatically registered to participate for the chance to win FINtastic prizes provided by our sponsors!

3 September ~ Wednesday

Sunset Welcome at Hotel Cozumel Wyndham ~ We will make introductions with the traditional Mer Treasure Swap, and invite all to the pop-up MERcado to buy/sell/trade some of your fav mer products!

4 September ~ Thursday

9 AM poolside at Hotel Cozumel Wyndham ~ Start the day with a stretch session designed for mer folk, then drift into a soothing static breath-hold session to ignite your inner mer! We'll dive in to pool and ocean waters to shake our scales out, and get imMERsed in the mermaid living vibe for the week.

5 September ~ Friday

9 AM beachside at Hotel Cozumel Wyndham ~ An oceanfront Freediving Mer yoga session to start will prepare your body and mind for a day of open water mermaiding. If you are interested in a private photo session while on island, this is the best day to schedule. Ask us for contact info to our local island favs, These are fin-picked by local mer folk because of their experience ~ they know what mers want!

6 September ~ Saturday

9:30 AM at Mayan Sport Center ~ Your Merfect Shape aquatic fitness pool session designed to improve form, muscle strength, and breath-hold for all mermaiding activities. Afterwards, we'll shell-abrate both athletic and artistic elements of mermaiding with the friendly yet fierce Mer Games™️ competition!

7 September ~ Sunday

8:30 AM at the Marina ~ We'll get on a boat and explore reef sites in the marine park. This is our opportunity to see firsthand why Cozumel is world renowned for it's diving. The Mesoamerican Reef is the 2nd largest coral reef system in the world!

8 September ~ Mermaid Monday

9:30 AM at Beach Club ~ Get ready for a truly unique photo session in the gorgeous waters of the north zone. Each mer will have their chance to get THE shot in a clear kayak floating over infinite ripples of the Caribbean Sea. Then, spend the rest of the day in mer relax mode at the beach (pool also on-site).

9 September ~ Tuesday

9:30 AM at Chankanaab Park ~ Spend the last day freediving and mermaiding to your heart's delight in the waters of one of Cozumel's national parks. Here, there are underwater sculptures and reefs to enjoy, so we'll ensure each mer gets an aquatic video as a souvenir of the Mer Week experience!
